Where will the kids go?
The kids will be taken over to the school gym by our volunteers, in the same way they do for PowerZone.

How much does it cost?
We are working with grants and the community to ensure this is a free service offered to everyone.
Will you be able to bus the kids home?
Unfortunately, no. We will be available with the kids until 5:30pm, to provide time for people to get off work and pick up kids.
Will there be snacks?
The kids receive a snack from the school at the end of their school day, so will be not be providing any food.
How long will the program last?
Once school is out we will work with the kids until 5:30pm, when you can pick them up. We are starting on September 8th and our last day will be May 10th. Some Fridays we won't meet if school is not in session.
Who are the volunteers working with the kids?
The adults working with the kids are all listed on the "About" of our site, have been interviewed, screened, and gone through a background check through the state of Kansas.
What ages can participate?
Just like PowerZone, Kindergarten - 6th Grade can sign up to be part of Faith Friends.
How do I sign up?
During school enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year, there will be a section to sign up for the program.
